When is the best time to get Studio G involved?
It is never too EARLY! Once architectural concepts or bid packages are proposed, feel free to contact us to review the scope of work for the project and provide a budget based on the design selections or allow us to make recommendations for a unique application. Ideally, we will work with the Design/Build team early in the process to aid in any special engineering requirements for Glass Hardware or Storage applications BEFORE the architectural documents are completed, saving time and money later in the project.
When is the best time to place my order with Studio G?
Most products do require a lead time of 4-8 weeks from the time the order is placed until the installation date. Some products can be expedited depending on project timing (freight charges will be applied).
How long are quotes/pricing valid?
Quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to change with supply and demand of materials.
What are Studio G’s payment options?
Studio G takes cash, check and debit/credit cards (3% transaction fee) as payment. **A 50% deposit is required at the time of order for all retail installs. Retail pick-up orders must be paid in full before the order is placed. For Builder payment requirements, please contact us at (616) 994 7050.
Do I need to pay before picking up my order?
YES – To help ensure a smooth pickup experience, Orders must be paid in full before pickup. Our warehouse is unable to process payment transactions.
How will I know when my order is ready?
We’ll notify you as soon as your Order is ready for pickup.
Do I need to let you know when I am coming?
YES – please share your pickup date and approximate arrival time, so we can have everything ready for you.
What are the building hours?
To drop-off or pickup an item, hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where do I go for drop-off/pick-up?
We will be happy to assist you at the Studio G Fabrication & Distribution Center, 631 Commerce Ct., Suite 11,
Holland, MI 49424 (last door on the East end of the building).
What should I do when I arrive?
When you arrive, please ring the bell for service at the Suite 11 door and we’ll be with you shortly.
Can I walk through the facility?
For your safety, we ask that you remain in the Customer Zone during pickup. Please note, this is an operational fabrication center rather than a showroom or retail space.
Do you provide packaging materials?
Packaging materials are not provided by Studio G. We recommend planning ahead to provide your own materials if your Order will need additional protection for transport.
Does Studio G Install products provided by other contractors, the builder or homeowner?
Due to Warranty coverage, Studio G cannot install products provided by others. We only install & service products that are purchased/supplied by Studio G.
My child broke a window screen, do you fix them?
NO – We no longer service or fabricate screens.
Glass
What type of shower door can I put on my fiberglass tub?
Any fiberglass unit (tub or shower) cannot use the “Euro” style (frameless) glass due to weight restrictions. However, we do have several semi-framed enclosures that work well on fiberglass units.
When is the best time to schedule my shower door measure?
Unfinished bathrooms cannot be accurately measured. If the shower/bath is tiled, the tile should be installed prior to measure. Fiberglass inserts should also be installed prior to our field measure to insure an accurate fit.
What if my shower opening is different than the standard?
Not a problem! We will come out and measure the opening, look at the layout, and talk with you about the various options that you can choose from. Custom shower enclosures are our specialty!
What colors/finishes do you offer?
Studio G offers today’s most on-trend finishes to perfectly match your bathroom accessories, including Brushed Nickel, Chrome, Polished Nickel, Matte Black, Brushed Bronze, Satin Brass and more.
What types of pattern glass can I use for my shower?

Tempered or Annealed Glass?
Tempered is a safety glass, it shatters instead of breaking in big sharp pieces. Tempered is needed for shower glass, shelves, transoms over doorways, and cabinet glass depending on location. Our staff will be glad to guide you on which one you need!
If I don’t need my glass installed, can I order the pieces for pickup?
YES – When ordering through one of our Glass Specialists, please inform them that you would like to pick it up.
Do you service leaky or broken showers?
If you bought your shower through Studio G – YES – we will come out and service your shower. If you purchased your shower elsewhere, unfortunately we will not service your shower. We cannot guarantee the repair if the product didn’t come from us.
Does my shower come with a guarantee?
YES – we do offer a 1-year limited warranty on our products. Check out our full warranty policy HERE.
Do you service marine glass?
NO – We no longer service marine glass of any kind.
How do I schedule a service time for my shower?
We ask that you contact our office at (616)-994-7050 to set up a time for us to assess your issue and we can provide an estimate to service your shower. Keep in mind that we only service products that we installed.
If I buy my shower from Studio G, will they come and take out my old shower?
NO – Studio G does not remove or dispose of old shower materials. The existing shower must be completely removed, and any damage or necessary repairs caused by the removal must be fixed prior to installation.
Hardware
What types of hardware does Studio G offer?

When should hardware be selected in the build timeline?
Hardware should be selected 5 weeks before requested install date by the builder. Late selections can delay install, cause backorders, or require rework in cabinetry drilling has already been completed.
Where can I look at my hardware options?

Will my bathroom hardware match my faucet?
Studio G works with various hardware vendors giving you more options to compliment your existing color. We are also excited to announce that we have partnered with Kohler and Moen for Bath Accessories and Mirrors, providing a perfect match to those manufacturers’ plumbing fixtures.
Can I have different brands of hardware throughout my home?
YES – Studio G does not require you to pick from one brand. Mixing Styles and finishes is a great way to personalize your home.
What happens if my selected hardware is backordered?
We order hardware in advance from the install date requested by your builder to help prevent any delays. However, if the hardware ends up being backordered for an extended period, we will assist in comparable alternatives and help with timelines to help minimize delays in your project.
How do I choose the right size cabinet pulls?
It depends on the size of your cabinets, door style and your design preference. We recommend that larger drawers 30in or more in width, have one large pull or two smaller pulls or to allow easier grip and stability on the drawer front.
Do cabinet knobs and pulls come pre-installed?
Cabinet hardware is installed after cabinetry is in place by your builder and must be drilled precisely based on the selected hardware.
Can I change my hardware after it’s been ordered?
We recommend finalizing selections before ordering. If changes are made after final approval, this may lead to delays or additional fees.
Closet
When can I start designing my Studio G Melamine Closet?
Rough measurements and blueprints are enough for our designers to put together an Estimate for a custom storage application for your closet, pantry, mudroom, office or any other area of the house that requires thoughtful organization.

After my closet has been ordered, how long will it take for it to be installed?
All Melamine projects have general lead times of 4-6 weeks for manufacturing. Installation is dependent on schedule availability.
What types of finishes do I have to choose from?

Can I use ORG Home components in a Kitchen or Bath?
NO – It is not recommended to install in these areas due to moisture. *Doing so will void the manufacturer warranty.
When can I have my closet measured?
Closets (wire or melamine) can be measured when the drywall is complete (Mud and Tape) and after wall obstacles (switches, vents, cold returns) are installed.
Does Studio G Offer Garage Storage?
Yes – We have a variety of solutions created especially for the Garage-including-sports equipment, tools, bikes and even your kayak!
What is Slat Wall?
A Studio G slatwall is a heavy-duty, wall-mounted organization panel featuring built-in horizontal grooves. It functions as a flexible backdrop that converts bare walls into modular vertical storage spaces. Heavy-duty hooks and brackets hold long-handled rakes, shovels, ladders, and bikes.
What’s the difference between hanging and floor mounted systems?
The difference is just that – one is wall mounted (hanging) and the other is resting on the floor. Floor mounted systems have toe-kick/base and wall scribe making it a perfect fit every time.
Are hanging Melamine closet systems durable?
YES – Studio G Melamine closet systems are incredibly sturdy, structurally rigid, and effortlessly easy to clean. The system relies on a heavy-duty steel rail that can support up to 1,200 pounds per 8-foot section without a hint of sagging. Giving you peace of mind when storing heavier items on shelves.
If I don’t want a Melamine closet system, are there any alternatives?

Are there any accessories that can be added to Melamine closet systems?
YES – Studio G offers many different accessories for its various Melamine systems depending on the application. From jewelry inserts, integrated lighting, valets, belt racks to roll out drawers, wine bottle storage and pullout hampers- we have options to fit every storage need.
